Dermal Fillers to Revitalize Hands
Your hands are always on display, and they’re not immune to the signs of aging. These age-related changes on the back of our hands create loose skin and reveal unsightly tendons and veins. Although our hands are always visible, most clients forget their importance despite them being a big indicator of age. That’s why dermal fillers for the hands are soaring in popularity, and one of our favorite treatments.
Using an FDA approved dermal filler such as Restylane Lyft, we can restore volume loss in the hands and soften the protruding tendons and veins, reversing the signs of aging. Our clients are extremely happy (rated only 5 stars on Yelp, Google, and Facebook) with their results as it’s instantaneous, relatively painless, and long-lasting.

On the day of treatment, we will analyze your hands with you, review the aging process and your aesthetic goals, answer your questions, and formulate a treatment plan. Once a plan is formulated, we will begin numbing the area of concern for about 20 minutes then begin treatment. After the treatment, we will give you post-care instructions and schedule a follow-up visit for any touch-ups if needed.
After the consultation, we numb your skin for about 20 minutes for your comfort and then begin treatments. Treatments take approximately 20-30 minutes, while the whole visit takes approximately 1 hour. Your 1-2 week follow-up will be scheduled for touch-ups if necessary.
After numbing with our proprietary, powerful numbing cream, we use ultra-fine needles to reduce pain and discomfort. The treatment is very tolerable, most patients just feel some pressure and rate the experience as around a 3-4/10 on the pain scale. Our dermal fillers also contain lidocaine (a numbing medicine) which also helps reduce pain after the procedure. We will then apply arnica to soothe the skin and ice packs to reduce swelling and discomfort.
We take every precaution to reduce the likelihood of bruising during your treatment. We ask that you not consume alcohol the day of or before the procedure, and to let us know if you are using any blood thinners such as aspirin, other NSAIDs, warfarin (coumadin), Xarelto, Plavix, etc. We minimize the number of injections and avoid major blood vessels to reduce the chance of bruising or bleeding.
The dermal fillers in your hands will last approximately 12 months, but may vary from person to person depending on both the filler used and your body’s metabolism. All of our dermal fillers are made fromsafe hyaluronic acid which will be metabolized by your body over time.
